New Delhi: The country’s largest car company Maruti Suzuki has introduced the petrol version of its popular compact SUV Vitara Brezza. Its ex-showroom price in Delhi will be in the range of 7.34 lakh to 11.4 lakh rupees. The company said in a statement released on Monday that the BS-6 version of the Vitara Brezza has a 1.5-liter K-series engine. This new petrol Vitara Brezza was unveiled at the Auto Expo this month.

Kenichi Ayukawa, managing director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India, said, “The Vitara Brezza is more sporty and powerful in terms of its strong, urban and premium appeal.” We are confident that this new model will get good response from customers.

Bharat Phase-Six (BS-VI) emission standards are coming into force from April 1. In view of this, the company has decided to leave the diesel engine. The diesel version of the Vitara Brezza is being discontinued.
