Police Complaint Registered in India as Cross-Border Legal Action Begins Over Alleged Online Harassment Linked to Instagram Account @radz.x1

A police complaint has been registered at a police station in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, following allegations of sustained online harassment, abusive communications, and targeted social media activity directed at individuals associated with Vanity Stardom.

According to documents and digital evidence reviewed by Vanity Stardom, the matter concerns the Instagram account @radz.x1, which is reportedly associated with an individual using the name “Radhesh Jolly” on social media. The identity of the account holder has not been independently verified by Vanity Stardom and remains subject to the ongoing legal process.

The complaint alleges that the account was used to publish abusive Instagram Stories, targeted posts, unsolicited direct messages, repeated voice calls, and other online communications directed at the complainants. Vanity Stardom states that screenshots, screen recordings, chat logs, voice messages, and other digital evidence have been preserved and submitted as part of the legal process.

Alongside the police complaint in India, a legal team based in London, United Kingdom, has begun coordinating with the appropriate authorities to determine the identity of the individual operating the reported account and to pursue any remedies available under applicable UK law.

A formal submission containing supporting evidence has also been made to Meta Platforms, requesting an urgent review of the reported Instagram account under the company’s Bullying and Harassment policies. The submission asks Meta to review the reported content and take action in accordance with its Community Standards if violations are identified. It also requests that relevant account information be preserved in accordance with Meta’s legal procedures.

According to the complainants, the reported conduct includes public Instagram Stories allegedly containing abusive language directed at a specific individual, repeated unsolicited messages, and continued attempts to contact those involved despite efforts to disengage. These allegations have been documented and form part of the evidence submitted to the relevant authorities.

A spokesperson for Vanity Stardom said:

“Online harassment and targeted abuse have no place on digital platforms. We have chosen to address this matter through lawful channels by preserving evidence, cooperating with the relevant authorities, and requesting platform review. We will continue to assist the investigation while respecting the legal process.”

The matter is currently under review by the relevant authorities and platform representatives. Vanity Stardom stated that it will refrain from making further comments regarding the allegations while the legal process is ongoing and encourages anyone with relevant information to cooperate with the appropriate authorities.
