Founder of Rahasya vodka- Product of Blisswater Industries, Varna Bhat

Varna Bhat is the founder and CEO of Blisswater Industries Private Limited and a first-generation businesswoman with experience in branding, events, and experiential marketing. Though Goa-based Varna Bhat had already established two businesses, Tesserakt Experiential and RapidStall, a marketing, events, and creative agency respectively, she had always wished to launch a venture in the alcoholic beverage industry.

Varna Bhat, who is from the sunny state of Goa, had always been a batch topper and an academic star and had grown up planning to pass the UPSC exams. Thus she spent her childhood training to be an IAS officer. She was employed by a company where mentors from the branding industry were present while she was completing her civil service training. But she decided to take a different path and became a serial entrepreneur with three profitable businesses.

The realization that India lacks a distinctive beverage that best represents herself was the inspiration behind the creation of Blisswater Industries and the debut of Rahasya vodka, a beverage that is distinctly Indian, in December 2020. Rahasya was created with the intention of creating something that is uniquely Indian and that we can offer to the rest of the world as a symbol of the sensibilities and aesthetics of our nation. The goal of producing a high-end, uniquely Indian product served as the starting point for the voyage and made the world proud of India’s illustrious and brilliant civilization.

Additionally, Blisswater Industries intends to export Rahasya to four nations outside of India. CC One Venture Labs, Majithia Family House, as well as independent investors Sham Kishor Bhat and Yash Shah contributed $335,000 to the company’s seed round of funding. Additionally, one of the investors owns money in Bira.
