Entrepreneur with the vision to make Born Good as India’s Biggest Plant-Based Home Care Brand, Mohit Belani

Mohit Belani is the founder of Born Good, a plant based home care brand which provides India’s first USDA certified line of eco-friendly, plant-based home cleaners that are non-toxic yet effective.

Mohit saw lakes and other bodies of water around him foam up with toxic effluents and eventually catch fire, and he knew a systemic change had to be made at the source of this toxic water pollution. Mohit is in a unique position to lead this change after nearly two decades in the textile processing industry. He drew on the parent companies’ 50+ years of experience, Ramsons Garment Finishing Equipment (Ramsons) and European Textile Chemical Corporation (ETCC), to understand the most efficient ways to reduce the negative environmental impact of traditional detergent effluents. This is how Born Good entered the picture.

Mohit established this company with the goal of becoming India’s largest plant-based home care brand. He created it to assist people in making a small but significant positive contribution to the planet.

Born Good provides a comprehensive line of home cleaners, ranging from liquid detergents and fabric conditioners to floor cleaners and dishwashing gels. They also have innovative products like Plant-based Shade Revive detergent, which restores the color in dark coloured clothes, and Antimicrobial detergent, which is specifically formulated for activewear. To create the unique plant-based formulations of our proprietary line of bio-based liquid laundry detergents, our team of accredited bio-scientists and chemists turned to the evergreen world of nature and plants around us.
