Reel Life Harshad Mehta aka Prateek Gandhi

The reel life Harshad Mehta, Pratik Gandhi is a renowned Gujrati Theatre and cinema and have worked in many famous Gujarati films like Bey Yaar, Wrong Side Raju, Love Ni Bhavai.

He was born and raised in Surat, Gujarat and his parents were teachers. His acting career started from his childhood as he was always involved in these things. At the start, he wanted to become a doctor but he pursued Industrial Engineering due to bad academic results. After completing his graduation he started working with Reliance Industries and was also doing theatre at the same time.

His acting was noticed when he got a small role in a Gujarati play Aa Paar Ke Pele Paar with Firoz Bhagat, Vipra Rawal and Apara Mehta which became very commercially successful.  Then in 2014, he played the role in Gujrati movie Bey Yaar which was also very much critically and commercially successful. Then he worked in many hit plays like Mere Piya Gaye Rangoon, Hu Chandrakant Bakshi, Ame Badha Sathe To Duniya Laiye Mathe. For his role in Mohan’s Masala, he was included in Limca’s Book of Records for a monologue which was in three languages, Hindi, English and Gujrati, which was performed in a single day. Then he played the lead role in movie Wrong Side Raju(2016) which was another successful film in terms of critics as well as commercial scene and this film won the National Award for the Best Gujrati Film.

In between his theatre days he got married to the love of his life Bhamini Oza in 2009, who is also a theatre actress and both were blessed with a beautiful girl child in 2014.

He has also acted in Bollywood movies like Loveyatri, Mitron, Ventilator and recently his biographical drama web series, Scam 1992 which is based upon a scam stockbroker Harshad Mehta is getting appreciated by everyone and has been a big hit in the Bollywood industry.
