Inspiration for Youth: Sejal Kumar

With over 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube and a verified Instagram account with 865k followers, Sejal Kumar is one of the known faces in the vlogging and web series genre of YouTube India. She is an actor, director and vlogger. She started her youtube channel in February  2014 when youtube was a platform but not as big as it is today. She is famous for her content such as Engineering Girls (2018), Hall of my Heart and FilterCopy Talkies (2018). She also appeared in an airtel advertisement.

She was born on 1 January 1995. She did her schooling from The Mother’s International School, New Delhi after that she got her bachelor’s degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. She started her youtube during her college days as leisure and decided to go for her placements. She was a professional dancer with Danceworx for 2 years, in her college she joined a few societies one of them being street play. She was also a basketball player in her high school.

She uploaded her first video titled as “summer style turkey” since then she has uploaded more than 500 videos on her channel. In Nov. 2018 she reached one of her milestones after she launched her own clothing collection in collaboration with StalkBuyLove. She has won many awards some of them are –

She gave a Ted talk on How to make YouTube as a career, At Manipal University, Jaipur. She inspires today’s youth in many ways such as how one can pursue a career in a field without thinking about how things will be in the future.
