Engineer Become Musician: Anuj Dimri

A six-year-old boy who was fascinated by the stage and music and since there has been no turning back for him.
Anuj Dimri is one of the famous singers who perform cover songs and live events. His love for music compelled him to take Hindustani Classical lessons at the Army Public School, Delhi. At the age of 15, he laid his hands on a guitar which became his inseparable companion. This passion combined with his vocal abilities created a mesmerizing combination and gave him a very unique recognition. He is a multitalented instrumentalist and an alumnus of KS Music Conservatory.
He performed his compositions as a part of the trade event for independent, music, film and media — Indiearth Xchange 2017. The song was written and composed by him and was recorded by Australian music producers – Brad Columbine and Dan James.
Currently, he leads his own band ‘Anuj Dimri, the soul experience’ a five-piece ensemble is the most sought out artistries and a regular performer in the City. He added another jewel to his crown when he launched his single track – ‘Tere Bina Mein’ which was a part of the 2017 Indie 100 India album – a collaborative project between QUT, earth sync and KM Music Conservatory, the track was launched by Adam Greig, a faculty member at KM Music Conservatory and co-founder of Indie 100. He comes from a regimented army background but he decided to go for music when he was in college. He was pursuing Biomedical engineering and he told his parents that he wanted to pursue music initially his parents were quite shocked. Earlier he has also revealed his interest in Sonic. Sonic is a biomedical term where it exposes sounds to a newborn baby in order to develop their sensitivity.
