All-rounder actress of Indian TV Industry: Megha Gupta

Known for her roles in Indian crime TV serials like CID, Savdhan India, Adaalat and many others, Megha Gupta is a well known in Indian Telefilms Industry.

Born on May 13, 1985, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Megha Gupta is Mass and Media graduate from Wilson College, Mumbai.

But her acting career started accidentally during her college days. After spending her early life in Muscat, she came Mumbai to pursue her bachelorette degree in Mass and Media and for her college project she had to visit Balaji Production and from there on she started giving auditions for many TV shows.

She made her debut in Kusum in 2004 as a supporting actor and this show was aired on Star Plus. After that, she also played role in another Star Plus show named Kavyanjali in 2005. From then, her acting career got established and she played many small and big roles in many serials like Kumkum, Sshhh Fir koi ha, Adalat, CID, Mamta.

Not only in serials she also participated in the couple dance reality show Nach Baliye (Season 4) with Naman Shaw in 2009 and ended up being the runner up of the show.

She also hosted Star Plus reality show Perfect Bride in 2009.

She has been an all-round actor since then and has acted in almost 30 Serials and Web series till now.

Then in 2016, she married Siddharth Karnick, who was recently seen in the Deepika Padukone starring movie Thappad. But unfortunately, this marriage also didn’t work out for her and they got separated in 2020.

Recently, Megha Gupta was seen in Ullu App’s web series Bribe in which she is playing the role of a prostitute.

After spending 17 years in Mumbai, she shifted to Goa in the start of 2020 for spending some quality time away from the noisy Mumbai.

She is following her passion for reading, cooking, gardening and many others and also she is running a so-called food chain. She supplies home cook nutritional foods like Humus, Coconut Cake, Healthy Cookies and many other things and she is living her life to the fullest.
