Known for his wonderful role of Captain Malcolm Mal Reynolds on Firefly, Nathan Fillion is one the most famous Hollywood actors.

Nathan Fillion was born on 27 March, 1971 and he was born and raised in Alberta, Canada and completed his schooling and then college from the University of Alberta.

Subsequent to working in a few theater, TV, and film creations, incorporating Theatresports with Rapid Fire Theater and the ad libbed drama Die-Nasty, Fillion moved to New York City in 1994. Then in 1997, he got the citizenship of USA.

In 2002, Fillion featured as Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the Joss Whedon sci-fi TV arrangement Firefly,for which he won the Cinescape Genre Face of the Future – Male honor by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films, USA. Fillion additionally won the Syfy Genre Awards in 2006 for Best Actor/Television

Nathan Fillion along with his author friend PJ Haarsma founded The Kids Need to Read(KNTR) in 2007 in California. This project took of when both Haarsma and Fillion moved toward a gathering of his fans with the thought for a venture that would attempt to buy books for underfunded schools, just as not-for-profit organizations which gave books straightforwardly to children. KNTR has made book gifts to 41 schools and libraries notwithstanding three different library frameworks. KNTR encouraged a generous gift of 3,000 books by the Phoenix Book Company to the Friends of the New Orleans Public Library, to assist with recovery after Hurricane Katrina.
