Renowned Philanthropist and Social Entrepreneur, Aditi Deshmukh

Aditi Deshmukh is an advocate for organic farming and ayurveda as well as education and philanthropy. She began her career as an actor and model, enjoying fame and notoriety throughout her brief tenure.

Being a mother and a wife, Aditi Amit Deshmukh is deeply committed to the advancement of women, children, the environment, and Indian culture. She is actively involved with the educational institutions of the Manjara Charitable Trust and VilasraoDeshmukh Foundation, which include ICSE and IB schools, engineering and technical colleges, and schools for rural children.  She oversees programs in rural transformation, healthcare, skill development and employment, education, and women empowerment in her capacity as a board member of the Vilasrao Deshmukh Foundation (VDF) and two other foundations.

Aditi is a supporter of value-based education. Her main areas of interest include environmental protection, education, and youth employment. She played a key role in establishing the first ICSE school in Latur, started initiatives for the improvement of farmers, and adopted three villages in order to make them self-sufficient through efforts in solar energy and water conservation.

She is the driving force behind 21 Organic, a project that was started with the intention of assisting farmers in Latur in making the switch to organic farming and a sustainable business model so that farmers and their families might also experience economic growth. She is a co-founder of an upcoming Ayurveda-based business.

The Navi Mumbai and Latur-based Goldcrest High group of schools, which is regarded as one of the top educational institutions in the area, is led by her. She is passionate in promoting holistic health and India’s traditional and historic knowledge of holistic health, as well as its culture and legacy. Her approach is to create sustainable, ecologically friendly solutions by fusing science, technology, and indigenous Indian practices.
