Meet Snehil Dixit Mehra Aka BCAunty

A modern world businesswoman, a social media influencer, a comic actor, x-journalist whatever you say, there she is Snehil Dixit Mehra who gain popularity during the lockdown period by uploading a series of short videos on social media platform by the name of BC(Bheri Cute) Aunty. Her videos are very funny, adorable and quite similar and relatable from our day to day life. One of her videos named ‘The Class Of Heroes’ was applauded by everyone.

From being a middle-class family, her education was always for getting a good life partner as per Indian society stigma. Though she completed her graduation from an engineering background and got a corporate job but was never satisfied with her job.  Her childhood dream was to be a news anchor. She used to read the news in front of the mirror in childhood.

Few months before her job placement he visited her elder brother in Mumbai and from some local contacts, she started an internship in CNBC Awaaz and enjoyed that internship to its fullest. Every day she used to get Rs.200 for a day and food coupons for the next day and she was overwhelmed from it. After CNBC Awaaz she interned with a website called Business of Cinema as a reporter and she loved that job very much and did it for a year.

After that, she started interning with a production house. She considers herself as a better writer than a performer. Being working as a creative director in 2018 for AltBalaji’s show Apaharan, she also got a 17-sec role in it which went viral and she became an overnight sensation.

Later that year she started her Instagram page named BC Aunty. Between all of these things she got married and was the mother of a child. And the thoughts of society were always in her mind that what will people say that after being married and being a mother now she wants to be a social media influencer. But her husband was very supportive in nature and he backed her and supported her to do whatever she wanted to do.

Starting with film reviews she made many characters which became close to everyone’s heart. She always makes videos on trending topics to reach out to the audience’s heart and mind.

She is a perfect example of the stigma of a woman comedian. She wants that every comedian should be treated on their skills rather than getting compared to their gender.
