Biggest name in Indian Television Industry: Kratika S Dheer

A famous name in the Indian television industry and an actress who had acted in many Indian popular tv daily shops such as Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Jhansi Ki Rani, Punar Vivaah and Kasam Tere Pyaar ki and many others, she is Kratika Sengar Dheer.

She belongs to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and she completed her school life from Kanpur and later she shifted to Delhi and got a graduation degree in Mass and Media from Amity University, Noida and then shifted to Mumbai for making her career in Bollywood industry.

She started her acting career by working in ad agencies like Hungama tv. She got her first acting break in popular long-running serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2007 where she played a very small role. In 2008, she got the main role in Balaji Telefilms to show Kya Dil Mein Hai and after that, she also got a guest appearance in a comedy show named Bura Na Mano Holi Hai. She also won the reality show Kaun Jeetega Bollywood ka Ticket.

Then from 2009 to 2011, she played the main lead role of Rani Laxmibai in Zee Tv’s show Jhansi ki Rani and also appeared in horror show Aahat in a single episode.

After that, she worked in many other television shows such as Punar Vivah where her chemistry with her opposite actor Gurmeet Choudhary was appreciated by everyone. She also promoted this show on Qubool Hai. Then she did many other shows such as star plus’s Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera, Life Ok’s show Devon Ka Dev… Mahadev alongside Mohit Raina and Mouni Roy.

Then she also worked in Zee Tv’s show Service wali Bahu, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki and gained so much of popularity for this show.

She has won Zee Rishtey awards two times in 2010 and 2102 in the categories Favourite Beti, Popular Jodi(Gurmeet Chaudhary), Popular face respectively. She has also been nominated for the prestigious Indian Television Academy Awards in the category Best Actress for her role in Punar Vivaah.

She is married to Nikitin Dheer who is also a Television actor.
