Bengal College Admission Portal, Get more Information about it
Keeping in mind the convenience of the students in view of the current Covid-19 crisis, the Bengal government has prepared a portal to get all kinds of information about admission to colleges. The name of this portal is ‘Bengal Higher Education’.
State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said on Thursday that this portal prepared by the Higher Education Department will be very helpful for the students. All kinds of information will be available to the students through this portal about admission to colleges. Parth tweeted, ‘Bengal Higher Education’ portal has been created keeping in mind the interests of all students of Bengal during this difficult time. All information about college admissions will be found in this portal. I am sure this portal will be very helpful for the students. ‘
Let it be said that in view of the Covid-19 crisis, the Bengal government has arranged for online admission for admission in colleges this time. The state government has already announced no fees for online admission this year. The state education department has already given instructions to all universities and colleges to not take any fees from students in view of the Kovid crisis this year.
First online Lok Adalat in West Bengal on 22 August
The Kolkata High Court Legal Services Committee is arranging to hold the first online Lok Adalat in West Bengal on 22 August to hear cases related to motor accident claims, pension and gratuity appeals. On Thursday, an official gave information about this.
The Chief Justice of the High Court, TBN Radhakrishnan, will inaugurate it at 10.30 am on Saturday in the presence of judges and other dignitaries. The case lists appeals, power, pension, gratuity and compassionate appointment in three benches in 120 cases related to motor accident claims against references received from both interested parties.
