Suryakumar Yadav

Recently, in IPL 2020 in the game of MI vs RCB, MI’s batsman Suryakumar Yadav played a superb knock of 79 runs in just 43 balls to ensure his team’s place in qualifiers of the tournament. That was a very high voltage match because before the match night Indian team for Australian tour was announced and Suryakumar Yadav was not selected despite his excellent performance in the last three seasons of IPL and also proving himself from a long time in the domestic circuit.

Main hoon na

Suryakumar Yadav is a right-handed batsman who plays for Mumbai in the domestic circuits and bats at No. 3 for MI in IPL. He has also been used as a middle-order batsman and as well a finisher also due to his ability to play all around the wicket in a 360-degree manner and has been consistent in his performance in IPL from last three seasons. He scored 512 runs in 14 games with a strike rate of more than 133 in 2018 for MI, in 2019 he scored 424 runs at a strike rate over 130 in 16 games and in this season he has scored 374 runs in 13 games till now striking over more than 153.

Between that MI vs RCB, there was a moment when SKY hit three consecutive fours and on the next ball he hit the ball straight in the hands of skipper Virat Kohli and after that, both of them stared at each other for about 10 seconds and Kohli came near SKY and remained near him for a while without saying anything, then SKY walked away from there. Then when SKY hit the winning runs, he celebrated in a very unusual way by pointing towards the dressing room saying that Don’t worry I am still here.

After that awesome inning, he was praised all over the social media and Indian cricket team coach Ravi Shastri also tweeted about Suryakumar Yadav praising him and advised him to work hard and be patient till he achieves what he wants and told him to keep working hard for it.
