Amit Shah Tests Positive For COVID-19, Admitted to Hospital

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been found infected with Corona virus. He gave his information by tweeting it himself. He has been admitted to Medanta Hospital. Shah tweeted, “I got an investigation done when the initial signs of corona infection appeared. My test report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am hospitalized on the advice of doctors. I request that all of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done. News agency ANI has quoted sources as saying that a team of doctors led by AIIMS director Dr. Randeep Guleria can reach Medanta Hospital to check the health of Home Minister Shah.

Let me tell you that Shah was constantly monitoring the work of curbing the Kovid-19 outbreak. In the past, when the condition of corona infection in the national capital Delhi became serious. Shah himself monitored it. He was meeting with officials of the Delhi Government, Union Home and Health Ministry to get updates on the latest status of arrangements to deal with Corona. Not only this, Shah also played a very important role in preparing guidelines on the process of unlocking. 

BJP President JP Nadda also wished Shah to be healthy soon. He has tweeted that the news of Hon’ble Home Minister being infected with Corona was received. I pray to God for his speedy recovery. At the same time, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also prayed for Shah’s recovery. The Defense Minister said, ‘Amitji, your perseverance and willpower has been an example in front of every challenge. You will definitely win over this big challenge of corona virus, I believe so.

Recently, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan was also found infected with corona, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital. At the same time, in the Yogi Adityanath government, Technical Education Minister Kamalrani Varun died on Sunday. She was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi PGI in Lucknow due to the global epidemic of corona infection. Following this information, CM Yogi Adityanath postponed his visit to Ayodhya and Barabanki today and expressed condolences on the demise of the minister. 

Home Minister Shah attended the event a day earlier on the 100th death anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Meanwhile, the Governor of Tamil Nadu Banwari Lal Purohit has also been found infected with corona. Doctors have advised him to stay in isolation at home. However, a team of doctors will monitor his health during this period. On 29 July last, 80-year-old Purohit went into isolation after three Raj Bhavan employees were found to be Corona positive. 

Meanwhile, the report of Amitabh Bachchan, who is undergoing treatment for corona infection at Nanavati hospital in Mumbai for 22 days has come negative. He has been discharged from the hospital. In the past, Amitabh Bachchan, his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya were found to be infected with Corona. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have already been discharged from the hospital. Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that my corona test came positive. Now I am discharged from the hospital. I am at home in self-isolation. 

It is noteworthy that 54,735 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of infection cases in the country has increased to 17,50,723. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 853 people have died due to infection in the last 24 hours. There are 5,67,730 active cases out of total 17,50,723 cases of infection. 11,45,629 people have succumbed to the disease in the country. So far 37,364 people have lost their lives due to infection.

Dilip Pandey is a renoy Indian politician and Member of the Legislative Assembly addressing the Timarpur Vidhan Sabha body electorate in the Delhi Legislative Assembly. He was the Convenor of the Delhi Unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He took over as the convenor of the Delhi unit in July 2014and presented his renunciation in April 2017 after AAP’s loss in the MCD races.

Born and raised in Zamania, a little tehsil in UP, Dilip Pandey completed his Master in Computer Application from the Rajeev Gandhi Technical University of Bhopal in 2005 and was functioning as an IT engineer in Hong Kong when he came in contact with India Against Corruption development drove by Anna Hazare.
