T-Series Office Building Gets Sealed After A Caretaker Tests Positive For COVID-19
BMC has sealed the T-Series office building after a caretaker tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. Read below to know more.
The novel coronavirus outbreak has caused havoc in the nation and the country is seeing a steady rise in the patients infected by the COVID-19 virus. Meanwhile, according to the latest reports, the office building of the music label, T-Series has been sealed by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) after one caretaker was tested positive for COVID-19.
As the sources close to the music label, the caretakers were working and staying at the office premises in Mumbai. The sources also mentioned that some of the caretakers were migrants who were not able to go back to their hometowns as the lockdown has been imposed. The building has all the facilities required for stay-in like rooms and kitchen. Apart from the one caretaker, two-three more people are getting tested as they too developed the symptoms and their reports are yet to be received. For safety purposes, BMC has sealed the office building of T-Series. However, the office has been shut since March 15 a week before the Janta curfew was imposed.
A T-Series spokesperson said that their company has followed all the rules and regulations issued by the higher authorities and also the lockdown protocols since day one. The company had also assured to take care of the in-house staff and take the necessary precautions to keep them safe from the virus.
Speaking of the coronavirus cases in India, as per Monday morning, there are about 67, 270 confirmed cases across the nation out of which 44, 072 are active and 20, 981 cases have been recovered. The death toll has climbed up to 2, 213. Currently, Mumbai has been leading with the most numbers of positive cases in India with 13, 739 confirmed cases.
