Devyani International acquires remaining stake in Sky Gate Hospitality in ₹57.5 crore deal
Devyani International, a leading quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain and franchisee of global brands including KFC, Pizza Hut and Costa Coffee, has strengthened its presence in India’s food services sector by acquiring the remaining stake in Sky Gate Hospitality.
The acquisition, valued at approximately ₹57.5 crore, gives Devyani International full ownership of Sky Gate Hospitality, which operates popular Indian food brands such as Biryani By Kilo and Goila Butter Chicken.
Industry observers say the move aligns with Devyani International’s strategy to expand beyond international QSR formats and deepen its footprint in the fast-growing Indian cuisine and delivery-focused segment.
The deal is expected to enhance operational synergies, accelerate brand expansion, and strengthen Devyani’s position in India’s competitive food services market.
Company officials have not disclosed further details on funding structure or integration timelines.
