Williams aims to close gap after unveiling new 2026 Formula One livery

Williams Racing has unveiled its bold new 2026 Formula One livery, signalling intent to recover lost ground after early-season production delays left the team playing catch-up.

The British outfit missed valuable mileage at the Barcelona shakedown, allowing rivals to log crucial data ahead of the new campaign. As a result, Williams drivers Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon were sidelined while competitors gained early momentum.

Team officials acknowledged the setback but expressed confidence that upcoming Bahrain pre-season testing will provide an opportunity to accelerate development of the FW48 and narrow the performance gap.

Despite the delayed start, Williams believes refinements to aerodynamics and reliability could help the team stabilise its midfield ambitions as the season progresses.

The livery reveal marks a psychological reset for the Grove-based squad as it looks to translate design optimism into on-track results in the weeks ahead.

Vanity Stardom will continue to track Williams’ progress through pre-season testing and the opening races of the 2026 Formula One season.
