International Child Labor Prohibition Day
In 2002, International Child Labor Prohibition Day was celebrated for the first time by the International Labor Organization, which works to stop child labor. International Child Labor Prohibition Day is celebrated every year on 12 June and on this day people are made aware to end child labor.

World Child Labor Prohibition Day has far reaching effects on all. Lack of access to proper education, poverty, poverty leads to millions of children turning to child labor. Child labor is a crime
Several laws have been enacted in the interest of children, according to which it is illegal to give work to children below the age of 14 years or get their wages done. Doing so falls under the category of crime, which means that in violation of this law, the guilty person can be arrested without warrant. Apart from this, if a person gets a child below 14 years of age or gets a 14-18 year old child involved in a dangerous business, then he can be sentenced to jail from 6 months to 2 years. With this, a fine of Rs 20 to 50 thousand can also be imposed.
