Who is true on the death toll from Corona in Delhi, Kejriwal government or MCD?

This is not the first dispute regarding deaths due to corona in Delhi. Earlier too many hospitals had claimed that the Delhi government does not include the death statistics which are sent on their behalf. Even after setting up a Death Committee in Delhi, there is a big difference in the figures.
-
South MCD claims to have cremated 1080 bodies
-
Delhi government claims, 1085 deaths from corona so far
-
Delhi government constitutes death audit committee for investigation
In Delhi, 2 figures of deaths due to coronavirus are coming out. One figure is coming from the MCD, and the other from the Delhi government. The MCD figure is almost double that of the Delhi government. Therefore, questions are arising whether the Delhi government is deliberately hiding the data or the BJP-ruled MCD is deliberately playing a game of increasing the death toll.
The question is justified because in the same state, how can the number of people who die from the same disease be 2 and that difference between the two figures does not match anywhere.
MCD claims, so far 2098 die
The claim of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is that until Thursday, 2098 corona-infected bodies have been cremated in Delhi. According to the municipal figures, the maximum deaths have been recorded in the South MCD, where 1080 corona virus-infected bodies have been cremated.
Also, the bodies of 976 deaths in the North MCD and 42 corona deaths in the East MCD were cremated.
On Thursday, the Delhi government released its daily report on the coronavirus, in which the death toll in Delhi has been reported as 1085.
Many screws in the account
Actually, there are many screws to understand this game of death-book. Screws are also technical in many respects. To monitor the death due to Corona and to identify the cause of death, the Delhi Government had constituted a Death Audit Committee on 20 April itself.
The committee is headed by former Director General Health Services Dr. Ashok Kumar. All hospitals have to send information about their deaths within 24 hours to this committee of 3 doctors.
This committee investigates all aspects of death. In which a case sheet containing complete information about the case is included, this death committee also investigates the patient for the investigation of the patient i.e. Investigation and finally the cause of death i.e. Death Summary.
After examining these aspects, the cases in which corona is found to be the primary cause of death, the same cases are shown by the Delhi government in its report as corona death.
While the basis of MCD data is second. All the cremation grounds and cemeteries of Delhi are responsible for the municipal corporation. The MCD keeps an account of the dead bodies that come here for the last rites.
ICMR new instructions
If someone dies in a suspicious condition, where the corona can be a cause of death, the funeral of those bodies is also done according to the fixed guidelines of the corona. That is, they also go to the corona account in the MCD register.
According to the latest ICMR guidelines, if a corona test of a person does not take place before death, then the corona is not taken from the dead body to be sampled for examination, but on the basis of symptoms, the funeral of that body is also done. The fix is done according to the guidelines. Therefore, according to the MCD, the figures are more than the figures of the Delhi government.
This is not the first dispute regarding deaths due to corona in Delhi. Earlier too many hospitals had claimed that the Delhi government does not include the death statistics which are sent on their behalf.
Send report by 5 pm
After this, on May 10, the Chief Secretary of the Delhi Government issued strict instructions to all the hospitals that the hospital should send information about their deaths by 5 pm every day.
The government had also told the hospitals to take care of the Hospital Standard Operating Procedure i.e. SOP in reporting the death, failing which action can be taken against the hospitals under the Disaster Management Act.
