Meijan has shared a picture of his childhood on his Instagram account in which he is spending quality time with his grandfather. In the picture, Jagdeep has taken the little Meejan on his lap and Meejan is seen kissing on the cheek of his grandfather Jagdeep.
However, Meijan Jafri is not able to accept his grandfather’s departure. Javed is unable to accept his grandfather’s departure from this world. He recently remembered his grandfather by posting a picture on social media. This picture is becoming quite viral on social media.

In 2019, Jagdeep was given a special honor at the IIFA Awards. Jagdeep was awarded the IIFA Award for his outstanding contribution to Hindi cinema. Outstanding Contribution to Indian Cinema was given to Jagdeep by Director Ramesh Sippy and actor Ranveer Singh. Jagdeep then reached the stage of IIFA in a wheelchair to receive the award. All actors in IIFA together gave a tribute to Jagdeep.
