Why are the conditions in Delhi worrisome

On Friday, all the old records of corona infection in Delhi were broken. From the new case to death, the statistics have drawn a worry line from the government to the common man’s forehead. While 2137 patients were reported on Friday, 1877 cases were reported on Thursday. New cases are constantly increasing very rapidly. Talking about the death figures, 71 people died in 24 hours. With this, the death toll due to corona infection in Delhi has increased to 1214.

The country’s highest conduct raised concern

The Supreme Court of the country has expressed concern over the negligence in the treatment of corona patients in the capital and the condition of the bodies of those who died of corona. The court described it as frightening, shocking and pathetic. Along with this, the court has also slammed the Delhi government with a strong tone. The court said that the government’s responsibility will not be fulfilled only by increasing the number of beds in hospitals. It is also his responsibility to provide adequate resources and care staff for patients. Apart from this, the court also questioned the dwindling number of corona investigations and said that not investigating is not an option for the problem. The next hearing in this case will be again on June 17.

Transition rate in April was 4-5 percent

Analyzing the data, the rate of infection in April was four to five percent, which reached around 20 percent in the last week of May and on Friday the rate has reached to about 36 percent. That is, 36 people are now being found infected with 100 people tested.
