Social distancing and mask required in Delhi, penalty will be imposed for breaking rules

Violation of rules and regulations will now be imposed in the Corona period in Delhi. Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has approved the rules.

The concern of the government has increased due to increasing Corona infection in Delhi. In Delhi, 2134 new corona cases were reported in one day on Saturday, due to which the number of infected in the national capital has increased to 38958. Therefore, to ensure social distancing for the prevention of infection, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has taken several steps.
The death toll due to Coronavirus has also increased in Delhi. So far in the national capital, 1271 people have died due to Coronavirus. However, corona patients in Delhi are also being discharged after treatment. So far 14945 patients have been treated in Delhi.
However, in Delhi during the Corona era, now for violation of rules and regulations, a penalty will be imposed. Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has approved the rules.
What are the rules and instructions
1. Following the Quarantine Rule
2. Adherence to social distancing
3. Face Mask / Cover compulsory at all public places and work sites
4. No spitting in public places
5. Pan gutkha in public places, tobacco consumption prohibited
Violation of these five rules and instructions will result in a fine of Rs 500 for the first time. Again, violation of these instructions and rules will attract a fine of Rs 1000. If the violator does not pay the fine, then action will be taken against him under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
Delhi Government will take action on violation of Delhi Pandemic Disease (Management of Kovid-19) Regulations, 2020. Under this, Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Delhi, DGHS of Government of Delhi, District Magistrate, Chief District Medical Officer, SDM, District Surveillance Officer, Officer authorized by Health and Family Welfare Department of Delhi, Officer authorized by District Magistrate, Nagar Authorized officers and sub-inspectors of Delhi Police and above rank officers will be able to take action on behalf of the deputy commissioner of the zone of the corporation.
