Shaily Garg along with Ashish Chandra, both IIT graduates, formed the company in 2020. Shaily comes from a family in India that has a history of working with building supplies and has worked for Stanza Living and P&G.

She started this startup with the aim to collaborate with businesses looking for the best natural stone products, including importers, distributors, stone fabricators, architects, and construction firms.

GlobalFair provides procurement as a service and works with quartz, tiles, and cabinets. Transparent pricing, real-time tracking, and cutting-edge equipment and technology are some of its distinctive selling factors. The business says their unique selling proposition (USP) is their end-to-end solution, which includes sourcing, organized production, pricing negotiation, quality inspection, technical evaluation with pattern development, cost-effective shipping, and on-time delivery.

In recent times, Saama Capital and India Quotient, two institutional investors, helped GlobalFair raise $2 million in seed funding. The business has expanded to 36 states in the US and has grown by 300% annually with 93% repeat business. It specializes in providing for sizable projects in Vietnam and India.
