Sanjana Chatlani is the founder of The Bombay Lettering Company, boutique calligraphy, and lettering company dedicated to reviving the love, warmth, and enthusiasm for hand-drawn scripts.
Sanjana Chatlani began her employment as a marketing assistant for Moet Hennessy in August 2015 with the zeal and zeal of a newbie. She was confident in her ability to work hard and climb the corporate ladder, having recently completed her undergraduate studies in media and communication at Mumbai University.
Sanjana had no clue that three and a half years later, she would be quitting the same profession, discovering a passion for calligraphy and hand lettering, and embarking on a well-planned entrepreneurial adventure. While working as a marketing professional for a premium brand, the personalization of every gift and product was unmistakable. She also spotted a professional calligrapher who came to the business on a regular basis solely to write on all of the cards and gift tags.

In today’s increasingly digitized environment, calligraphy has the unique capacity to inspire feelings of warmth and real happiness among people. She is one of India’s most well-known calligraphers and handwriting artists, having worked with brands such as Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors, Rolex, The Wedding Filmer, The Ritz Carlton, LVMH, Future Group, Tata Zoya, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, and Co, and Google India, among others. She also did the calligraphy for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding in India.
