The Indian High Commission in Islamabad and the Indian Foreign Ministry in New Delhi took up the case of both Indian personnel in front of Pakistan. Both officers are associated with CISF, so they have not got diplomatic immunity either.
After this incident, the charge of the Pakistan Mission in India, the High Commissioner in charge, Syed Hyder Shah, was summoned. India expressed its strong displeasure in front of Syed Hyder Shah.
