Only 4-5 people control the business of the film industry: Govinda
Govinda said that he had to wait for hours to meet many producers during his time. He also said that there are camps in Bollywood and only 4-5 people are running Bollywood.
Govinda, who achieved superstar status in the industry in the 90s, said of nepotism, despite his father Arun Kumar Raja and Nirmala Devi being actors, he had to struggle hard to make a place in Bollywood. Govinda said that he had to wait for hours to meet many producers during his time. Govinda also said that there are camps in Bollywood and only 4-5 people are running Bollywood.
Never talked much about Bollywood with daughter: Govinda
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Govinda said that whatever was talented before, he would get work. Every film used to get equal opportunities in theaters. But now it is not so. Now there are 4-5 people who run the entire business of films. They decide whether or not those who are not close to them should allow their films to be released properly. Some of my good films could not even get a proper release. But things are changing a lot now.
Talking about the Bollywood launch of his daughter Tina Ahuja, Govinda said that I have never talked to him much about it. My daughter is trying to find her own path and whenever her time comes she will definitely succeed. Please tell that there are reports of Govinda ‘s son also making his Bollywood debut.
