OnePlus announces cheap smartphone for Indian market
OnePlus is launching a budget smartphone in the market of India and Europe. The company has said that solid smartphone customers will be given at a lower price.
OnePlus is preparing to launch a cheaper smartphone in the Indian market. Reports were coming from this for quite some time. Now the company has stamped it. Generally, the smartphones of OnePlus are in the premium category and they cost more than the budget.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed this through a post. However, what the name of the phone will be is not clear. But a dedicated Instagram handle has been made by the company for this budget smartphone.
The CEO of OnePlus has announced that an affordable smartphone series is being introduced for the markets of India and Europe. He wrote in one of his blogposts, ‘As we are moving forward with our community, we know that there are many people who want a solid smartphone at an affordable price for everyday needs’.
The Insta handle of this upcoming smartphone is named OnePlusLiteZThing. It is possible that the company will launch it under the name of OnePlus Z series. One Plus launched a mid-range phone long ago which has been a flop. Now once again the company is preparing to enter this segment.
At present, the company has not told when this phone will be launched. It is worth noting that OnePlus is also preparing to launch a cheap smart TV in India early next month.
OnePlus has also released the teaser of its cheap smart TV. The initial price of this TV will be within 15 thousand to 20 thousand rupees only. Its sales will start on Amazon India website from July 2.
