Making Work-Life Stress Free and Easy With Impira, Ankur Goyal
Ankur Goyal is the founder of Impira, which is on a quest to make work-life easier, more productive, and meaningful by automatically extracting data from documents without writing a single line of code.
He went to Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science to study computer science. Ankur has spent his entire life pondering how to make data more accessible to the general public. He possesses multiple patents in database technology and created and scaled the technical team at MemSQL as employee number two and vice president of engineering. But one thing that bothered him was that while corporations have found out how to maximize value from structured data, how can they empower employees to extract, analyze, and make data usable from new unstructured data types that are fast emerging in enterprises and this was the impetus for Impira.
Visual forms of data such as photographs, videos, PDFs, and documents have increased in bulk as businesses have become increasingly digital. Traditional content management solutions such as databases, spreadsheets, and dashboards are inadequate. As a result, countless teams are wasting time manually transferring data between systems. This is a serious issue.
Impira understood that by re-engineering the data processing stack with AI at its core, they could unlock vital information buried within files and papers, allowing everyone to accomplish their work more effectively. Their offering is ambitious: by documenting, analyzing, and interpreting visual data at scale, Impira wants to unleash tremendous levels of productivity.
