Jitendra Avhar also said, when the Manmohan Singh government was there and petrol prices had increased. Then Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar spoke openly against it. Now petrol is being sold at the cheapest prices in the world. Even then petrol prices are high here. Now the truth should be revealed.

NCP leader and cabinet minister Jitendra Avhar has traced the old tweets of Bollywood celebs Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar and is now questioning them. Jitendra says that Amitabh and Akshay had raised questions on the previous government’s increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, so why are the two now silent?

Jitendra has written things while sharing the tweet of Amitabh’s year 2012 and Akshay Kumar’s 2015. In these tweets, Amitabh has made fun of the increased petrol price. He wrote in a tweet, ‘Ram Kal Chandra has said that such a Kalyug will come from Siya. You will buy a vehicle from cash and petrol will come from a loan.

In another tweet, Amitabh wrote, ‘Petrol price has increased by 7.5 rupees. Pump attendant – how much should I put? Mumbaikar – Spray 2-4 rupees on the car, brother, you have to burn it.

In return for this tweet by Amitabh, Jitendra Avhar wrote, ‘Bachchan, did you not get the petrol pump in your car or see the bill? The time has come for you to say something and have a fair opinion. Petrol and diesel prices are skyrocketing. Now what should Mumbaikar do to light a car or drive a tax?

Amitabh and Akshay heard Jitendra well

At the same time, Jitendra Avhar also said, ‘When Manmohan Singh was in government and petrol prices increased. Then Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar spoke openly against it. At that time, the world’s market was in a bad state, petrol prices had increased worldwide and were at their peak. These were the highest prices at that time. Now history has been created in Modi’s government. India has never seen petrol being sold at such a high price. Now petrol is being sold at the cheapest prices in the world. Even then petrol prices are high here.

Next he said, ‘Bachchan sahab had said in the year 2012, should we burn your car? Akshay Kumar asked if I ride a bicycle now? Now they do not see the increased price of petrol. Have you stopped reading the newspaper? Now is Akshay Kumar going to work only with a bicycle? Or is it true that you have become the spokesperson of the BJP? What you said in Manmohan Singh’s time, why don’t you say it now? This is called hipocracy. The truth should be revealed. They should speak.

Let us know that in the year 2011, the price of petrol used to be Rs 73.81 per liter, which in 2012 was Rs 78.57 per liter. Talking about today’s time, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 86.85 per liter and diesel has also increased this month. Currently, diesel is getting 78.25 per liter in Mumbai.
