Sushant Singh Rajput case: Senior Bihar cop gets quarantined by BMC officials on arrival in Mumbai

Senior Bihar Police officer Vinay Tiwari arrived in Mumbai to assist Maharashtra Police in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. On his arrival at the airport, he had stated that he is in the city to take the investigation ahead. A four-member team of Bihar Police has already been deployed to look into the matter.
Now, according to the latest reports, Tiwari has been “forcibly” quarantined by the BMC officials. DGP of Bihar, IPS Gupteshwar Pandey shared a picture of the quarantine stamp on Tiwari’s hand and wrote, “IPS officer Binay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from Patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11 pm today. He was not provided accommodation in the IPSMess despite request and was staying in a guest house in Goregaw”

Meanwhile, Tiwari had also stated that his arrival should be seen as

a step to arrest Rhea Chakraborty and others accused in the FIR filed by SSR’s father KK Singh.

Also, the DGP had earlier said that Bihar Police will reveal all the facts associated with the case.

Sushant was found dead at his Bandra apartment on June 14. Mumbai Police is currently investigating the matter.

On the other hand, Rhea has been absconding along with her family members. The Police has stated that they are unable to locate her.
