India, Delhi-Meerut RRTS project may be canceled in preparation to shock China

India can take tough economic decisions against China. There will be strictness regarding the sugar project. Projects in which Chinese companies have secured agreements can be canceled. These include the Meerut Rapid Rail project, whose bid has been received by the Chinese company.

It is being told that after the dispute over the China border, the Government of India has started reviewing those projects, which have been given to Chinese companies. It also has Delhi-Meerut RRTS project. All the legal aspects are being looked into by the government to cancel the bid. It is believed that the government can cancel this bid.

What is Delhi-Meerut RRTS Project

Semi high speed rail corridor to be built between Delhi-Meerut. This project will connect Delhi, Meerut via Ghaziabad. The 82.15 km long RRTS will have 68.03 km of elevated and 14.12 km of underground. Those going to Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh will be especially benefited from this project.
