Please tell that the Minister of State Rajnath Singh will leave for a three-day visit to Russia on Monday. During this time, the Defense Minister will attend a military parade in Moscow to mark the 75th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Germany in World War II. The parade was originally scheduled to take place on May 9, but was postponed due to the Corona virus epidemic. Rajnath Singh’s visit to Russia is believed to be crucial amid the ongoing border dispute between India and China.
20 soldiers, including a colonel of the Indian Army, were killed in a violent clash with Chinese troops in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh. At the same time, China has also suffered heavy losses in this clash. 40 soldiers, including the commanding officer of the military unit of China, were hoisted by Indian jawans. This is the largest military confrontation between the two countries in more than five decades. This has further aggravated the already existing deadlock on the border between the two countries.
