Apart from the character of Surma Bhopali in Sholay, Jagdeep played the role of Salman Khan’s father in the movie Purana Mandir and Andaz Apna Apna in Purana Mandir. Both these characters are not only well liked but they are still memorable for the people. Jagdeep started his career as a child artist with BR Chopra’s film Afsana.
