Gujarat Rajya Sabha Election Result: BJP got three seats and Congress got one seat in Gujarat

In the Rajya Sabha election results which were delayed by nearly four hours due to the controversy in Gujarat, three seats came in the account of BJP and one seat in Congress. Shakti Singh Gohil has been declared elected on the Congress seat. Earlier, the counting of votes was delayed due to uproar by Congress MLAs for declaring the votes of two BJP MLAs invalid.
The names of those who were elected to the Rajya Sabha from BJP are Akshay Bhardwaj, Ramilaben Bara and Narhari Amin respectively. This information was given by Additional Election Officer Ashok Manek. Bharat Singh Solanki, another Congress nominee, could not win the election.
In fact, the Congress had objected to the voting of Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Solanki and Kesari Singh, which was rejected by the Election Commission. The counting of votes was delayed 4 hours due to the objection. The BTP remained separate from the voting, while the NCP also defeated the Congress.
There were 5 candidates in the fray for 4 Rajya Sabha seats in Gujarat. The Congress nominated two candidates, Shaktisinh Gohil and Bharatsinh Solanki, while the BJP fielded Abhay Bhardwaj, Ramila Bara and Narhari Amin.
The Congress had objected to the case of Chudasama’s election victory pending in the court and the approval of proxy voting to Kesari Singh which was rejected by the Election Commission. Earlier, there was a pull of one vote in both the parties but the BJP was successful in its strategy, both the Tribal Party MLA Chhotu Vasava and his son Mahesh Vasava were separated from the last minute vote.
With this, the victory of the third candidate of BJP, Narhari Amin, was also confirmed. Chhotu Vasava said that both BJP and Congress parties did not do justice to the tribals, so they are not participating in this election.
