Grouping dominated in the music industry, said Udta Punjab singer Shahid Mallya

Shahid says that stage concerts are one of the main means of earning of singers in Bollywood, but since the beginning of the Corona period, this earning of singers has been stopped.

Shahid Mallya is one such name in the world of singing who has given many good songs to the Hindi film industry in the last 10 years. Whether it is ‘Ik Kudi’ from the movie “Udta Punjab” or ‘Kukkad’ song from the film “Student of the Year”. The list of Shahid’s hit songs is quite long. But while the work of the entire Bollywood industry has been affected due to Corona, its effect can be seen clearly on the singing field as well. Shahid Mallya shared his pain about this with Aaj Tak.

Shahid Mallya said, “Like the acting field, there is no nepotism in the singing field but there is some monopoly in our field. Due to this, some people like to work with them by forming a group of selected people. This makes the rest of the singers Don’t get a chance to work with them. ”

Shahid says that stage concerts are one of the main means of earning of singers in Bollywood, but since the beginning of the Corona period, this earning of singers has been stopped. Because the show which singers previously used to do for 10 rupees, now they have to do the same show sitting online for 1 rupee. Shahid further says that on the one hand, where singers are getting less money for live concerts, on the other hand they are not getting the comfort that they get when they perform in front of the audience.

Like every year, this year too, Shahid Mallya was going to release a lot of film songs which are stuck due to Corona, so for the moment, Shahid Mallya is focusing on Punjabi video songs instead of film songs and recently his 2 Punjabi Video Songs have been released, which have also got the love of the audience and now soon Shahid is going to bring his third music video among the audience.

However, Shahid believes that film songs do not have as much reach as video album songs, so he feels that unless a singer sings for films, it is difficult to get the recognition that he deserves.

Mallya’s voice fits on Shahid

Shahid Mallya said that it has been his good fortune that he has given his voice to almost many big stars of Bollywood, but he also believes that his voice fits most actor Shahid Kapoor and he has so far been Shahid Kapoor in many songs. Has given his voice for, besides singing for Aamir Khan is his dream and he hopes that his desire will also be fulfilled.

Shahid Mallya considers his Idol Shahrukh Khan whom he has given his voice in the film “Jab Harry Met Sejal” while in the field of singing he considers Mohammed Rafi as his Idol.
