Founder Of Frogo Frozen Foods, Mira Jhala

Mira Jhala is the founder of FroGo Frozen Foods, an online frozen food product and distribution company with a pilot programme in Gurugram. Rotis and parathas, non-vegetarian snacks, momos, pizzas, wraps and rolls, ready-to-eat meals, DIY kits, garlic breads and more, veggies and fruits, and ice cream will be among its offerings.

Mira Jhala knew from a young age that she wanted to be an entrepreneur. Growing up in Ahmedabad, she was surrounded by enterprising business people, such as her parents and their friends. Mira had spent a decade working, studying, and living in the United States, but she knew she wanted to start her business in India. In 2010, she founded Urban Kitchen, one of India’s first new-age cloud kitchens that provides food services to corporations, private events, restaurants, and individuals. Her entrepreneurial journey had just begun. In 2013, she launched Curry In a Hurry.

Purist, a new company she founded in 2016, focuses on scale and corporate food services. She then founded FroGo, with the goal of creating India’s first and largest online frozen food product and distribution company. When a product is freshly prepared, it is immediately frozen to preserve all of its nutrients. FroGo transports these products from each manufacturing location to its facility in the city using ultra-low temperature vehicles.

FroGo sources a wide range of frozen food products from well-known and emerging food brands. The brand will first be launched in Gurugram to test its MVP before expanding to NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
