Jeffrey Mason is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Groundspeed which is changing the way carriers, brokers, and others use data to improve underwriting results, save costs, and provide better service.

Jeffrey has spent the last two decades establishing and running high-growth insurance and insurance technology businesses. Mr. Mason has been the CEO of Groundspeed Analytics, a prominent data sciences organisation he created that serves property and casualty insurance giants such as Aon, Willis Towers Watson, Travelers, The Hartford, Swiss Re, and Liberty Mutual, since 2016.

Prior to joining Groundspeed, he held positions in full-stack insurance and insurance technology firms, where he led teams in sales, marketing, product, and analytics.Mr. Mason headed Chelsea Rhone’s alternative risk financing and alternative risk transfer initiatives from 2002 to 2015, where he developed and managed casualty insurance companies for hundreds of clients throughout the world. Mr. Mason graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
