Director of films like Drishyam, Madari deteriorated, hospitalized
There are reports that famous Bollywood director Nishikant Kamat was suffering from liver cirrhosis which has now relapsed. He has been admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad where his condition is critical. Nishikant has not only directed many popular films, but he has also got his performance ironed.
He played the character of Villain in John Abraham ‘s film Rocky Handsome and he was highly praised for his acting in this film. Apart from this, he has also worked with Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor in the film Bhavesh Joshi: Superhero. Recently, one of the most successful films of Nishikant Kamat, Drishyam completed five years of its release. In this film, stars like Ajay Devgan, Rajat Kapoor, Shriya Saran and Tabu were seen. Talking about career front, Kamat started his acting career in the year 2004 with the film Hawa Ane De.

Apart from this, he has also appeared in some Marathi films. He made his directorial debut in the 2008 film Mumbai Meri Jaan . The film received good response at the box office and his direction was praised for its realistic storytelling. Nishikant has always made films using some dark aspects related to society and he has achieved his own place in the industry. Significantly, he was preparing for his film Darbadar. This film is going to be released in the year 2022.
