Deal between Saregama & Facebook

“SAREGAMA” India’s oldest music labelled owned by RP Sanjiv Goenka Group of Companies. The company has recently announced its deal with the world’s biggest Social media platform known as Facebook. The company announced a global deal that we are giving permission to license its songs & videos through the biggest social media’s platforms Facebook & Instagram. This incredible partnership with both the big companies would allow their users worldwide for a wide variety of music to add to their social experiences such as videos, stories via music stickers and other content too which should be more creative.

What would be the changes from now onwards?

• The press said that from now onwards all the Facebook and Instagram users would be able to add songs to their Facebook profiles.
• Saregama is one of the oldest music label’s in the whole world it’s an Indian music company. It has a rich catalogue of over more than 1,00,000 songs across different ghazals, songs, Indi pop, devotional music and many more in more than 25 languages.
• Saregama said that we are pleased that from now a number of Facebook users can share songs by Saregama on their stories, feeds and more.

Saregama is considered as the Soul of India as mentioned un their logo too. The name of the company is kept on Musical Sur’s.

Which singer’s songs would be share on Facebook from now onwards?

• The company mentioned that from now people can share the music of Senior most music playback singers from Bollywood industry.
• Names of some well-known singers are like: – Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi, Gulzar, R.D. Burman, Jagjit Singh, Kalyanji Anandji and many more.
• Every Indian person have definitely listened to songs of these wonderful playback singers as these are the one who have such a melodious voice.
