Corona hit on Delhi Metro, the salary of all employees will be cut.

The order issued by the Delhi Metro states that the Metro is not operating due to the Coronavirus, which is facing a huge financial problem. In such a situation, the salary and facilities of the metro workers are being cut.

Corona crisis and lockdown are also affecting the jobs and salary of the people. Now Delhi Metro Corporation Limited has announced to cut the salary of its employees. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has also issued a formal order in this regard.

According to the order issued by the Delhi Metro, from August, there will be a 50 per cent reduction in the perks and allowances given to the employees. Metro employees will get 15.75 per cent of Perks and Allowance basic salary from August.

However, Metro employees will be able to take advantage of other facilities such as medical treatment, TA and DA. Apart from this, all the advances received by Metro employees have also been banned till further orders. Only those who have already received approval will be given advance.

Several advances like House Building Advance (HBA), Multipurpose Advance, Laptop Advance, Festival Advance have been banned with immediate effect. And this order has been put on hold until further orders.

In the order issued by the Delhi Metro, it has been cited that the Metro is not operating due to Coronavirus infection. Due to which there is a huge financial problem.

Metro is closed from March 22

Given the Corona infection, the services of Delhi Metro have been stopMarch 22e March. In the third week of March, Delhi Metro is closed since the time of Janata curfew on March 22 and the lockdown in Delhi. Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a March 22ockdown across the country in which the metro service of Delhi and other cities was stopped, along with other transport facilities.

The DMRC had then said that the lockdown of 21 days in the country would last till April 14. Due to this, the time to keep the Delhi Metro closed has also been extended April 144 April. Earlier on March 22, DMRC decided to keep the Metro closed till March 31.

Given the arch 31ing cases of corona in the country, Metro services could not be started even in the third phase of unlock. A limited number of rail services and domestic air services have been started, but no decision has been taken regarding the Metro.
