Gary has spent the last 24 years assisting leading financial institutions in the development of game-changing innovations. Gary was previously Executive Vice President of MetLife, where he was responsible for technology in 47 countries and a $1.2 billion budget. Gary was the youngest-ever Managing Director at Citigroup and held a number of executive technology leadership positions at Citi and Solomon Smith Barney prior to joining MetLife. Gary holds eight patents, the most recent of which for MetLife Infinity earned 15 industry honors, besting Amazon and Sony in the category of “Best Use of Digital.”

Gary established Unqork in 2017 to overcome the biggest roadblock to growth he saw while working in technology leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies. Unqork is the first enterprise no-code platform that enables organizations to create complex, custom software more quickly, with higher quality, and at lower costs than code-based solutions. Goldman Sachs, Marsh, Liberty Mutual, Maimonides Medical Center, New York City, and the District of Columbia are among Unqork’s global industry leaders.

Gary was awarded a New York Entrepreneur of the Year by EY and one of Goldman Sachs’ 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs in 2020 based on Unqork’s work creating a codeless platform that supports the complexity, scale, and security of mission-critical corporate applications. Among other accolades, Unqork has been named one of LinkedIn’s Top Startups 2020, Crain’s Best Places to Work 2020, and Forbes’ Best Startup Employers 2021.

Gary has been a member of the HERE to HERE Business Council since 2019, assisting in the development of a path to success for impoverished students in New York City. He is a member of the Aspen Institute’s Society of Fellows, a non-profit dedicated to achieving a free and just society.
