CBI team arrives at Bandra police station, interrogation of unknown person in case
The team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which reached Mumbai to investigate the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has started an investigation. In this connection, a team of CBI reached Bandra Police Station and obtained case diary and necessary documents from DCP Zone-9 Abhishek Trimukhe. Apart from this, another team of CBI is questioning an unknown person related to the case in the guest house. It is believed that the CBI will also react to the crime scene at Sushant’s house in Banda. A day earlier, the Supreme Court had directed the case to be handed over to the CBI.
Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case
– In the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the CBI team has gone to Bandra Police Station after taking a case diary from DCP Zone-9 Abhishek Trimukhe. The CBI team has taken the case diary and necessary documents from there.

– The CBI team, which reached Mumbai to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput case, is currently meeting in the Airforce Transit Facility located in Santa Cruz.
CBI team will not be quarantined
Meanwhile, BMC has said that the CBI team that reached Mumbai to investigate Sushant case will not be quarantined. A BMC official said that the central agency had requested the investigating officers to be exempted from the quarantine rules. So they are being exempted from this. It is worth mentioning that earlier BMC quarantined IPS officer Vinay Tiwari. Maharashtra Minister Vijay Wadettivar has said that CBI officials will stay in Mumbai and will meet many people. Therefore, taking precautionary measures, they should be investigated Covid-19.
Meeting of Maharashtra Home Minister and Parambir Singh
Earlier, Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh attended a meeting with Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh over the Sushant case. Deshmukh said on Wednesday that the Maharashtra government would provide all help to the CBI in this matter.
Police handing over documents related to the investigation to CBI
On August 19, the Supreme Court upheld the FIR lodged in Patna and asked the central agency to investigate. Justice Hrishikesh Rai, while delivering the judgment, also said that the Bihar government is capable of recommending a probe by the CBI. The court also asked the Mumbai Police to hand over all the evidence collected so far to the CBI.
ED recorded the statement of Rumi Jafri
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday recorded the statement of filmmaker Rumi Jafri in connection with the investigation into the money laundering case involving Sushant Singh Rajput. According to sources, his statement was recorded in relation to his alleged plans to direct the film with Sushant and the financial matters related to the upcoming project. Jafri was also questioned by the Mumbai Police earlier. The ED has so far recorded statements of Riya Chakraborty, her brother Shovik, father Indrajit Chakraborty, among others, in this case.
CBI submitted copy of FIR in special court
In the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the CBI has sent a copy of the FIR by post to the CBI special court to conduct a trial against the accused. According to CBI sources, the court has also received this copy.
