Booking for petrol version of Maruti S-Cross starts, launching in August
The country’s largest car company Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has started booking for the petrol version of its S-Cross model.

If you are waiting for the petrol version in Maruti Suzuki’s S-Cross model, then this news is for you. Actually, Maruti Suzuki has started booking for the petrol version of its S-Cross model. To book a car, the customer has to pay a booking amount of Rs 11,000.
Let us tell you that Maruti introduced the S-cross petrol at the Auto Expo this year. Since then, its launch is awaited. Launching has been delayed due to Corona virus and lockdown. Now the company will launch on 5 August.
Smart hybrid technology
Maruti released a statement saying that this model will be available with the 1.5-liter BS-6 petrol powertrain engine. It will have smart hybrid technology. The company sells the S-Cross through its Nexa network. Earlier this model was available only in diesel engine option. At the time this model was introduced, Fiat had a 1.6 liter engine. Later, it started using the 1.3 liter powertrain engine.
Shashank Srivastava, executive director (sales and marketing), Maruti said, “The S-Cross has a special place in Nexa’s portfolio. It is the flagship product of Nexa. So far, its number of subscribers is 1.25 lakhs.
