Anjali Barot, Support system of Harshad Mehta in Scam 1992

Anjali Barot is an Indian professional actor and a model. This 26-year-old actress was born and raised in Mumbai. She completed her schooling from Fr. Agnel Multipurpose School and from childhood she knew that she wanted to become an actor and so she pursued her graduate degree in Mass Media from Bombay University.

Talking about her acting career she has been part of many YouTube channels videos like FilterCopy, ScoopWhoop and has also acted in web series such as Wrong Number and she has also been the part of recent hit Scam 1992-The Harshad Mehta Story(2020). She has also acted in many brand advertisements such as Ford Figo, Godrej, Amazon Fire Stick, Paytm,  Havells TVC and others. She also acted in a short film named O Maa(2020).

She was very much passionate towards her acting career and while she was studying in college, she started to work as an associate producer for a production house.

Her proper acting skills was seen in her recent work Scam 1992 in which she has played the role of Jyoti Mehta, wife of scammer stockbroker Harshad Mehta. This web series was directed by HAnsal Mehta. While working on this project, she was also shooting for another web show the wrong number in which she was playing the role of a 15-year-old girl so it was a challenging task for her to act for two different roles at the same time. But she did it with ease. And she is very thankful to her director Hansal Mehta who guided her during shoot days and he helped her in finding emotions behind every dialogue.

She shot for her short film O Maa at her home by herself in the lockdown period. She was taking as many precautions she could take to avoid the deadly coronavirus.
