Again Curfew in Punjab due to Corona : Emergency Steps in Punjab

Chandigarh, The Government of Punjab, has taken a significant step, given the increase in Corona’s case in the State. The Chief Minister of the StateState, Captain Amarinder Singh, has announced several emergency steps. Curfew has been imposed in cities and big towns of the StateState from seven in the evening to five in the morning. With this, only 50 percent of passengers in buses and other vehicles will be able to travel. With this, only 50 percent of the employees will be present in the offices. This arrangement will come into effect from Friday.
Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh reviewed the situation at a high-level meeting given the rapid rise of Coronavirus cases in Punjab. After this, he demanded to take emergency steps in the StateState. He said that with weekend lockdown, curfew would remain in all 167 cities/towns of Punjab from 7 pm to 5 am from Friday.
Captain Amarinder Singh said that all kinds of gatherings, except the marriage ceremony and funeral, would be banned in Punjab till August 31. Along with this, he also announced a ban on public vehicles. Captain Amarinder said that buses and transport vehicles will now seat only 50 percent of the capacity. Only three people will be allowed to travel in private cars and four-wheelers.
Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh Nek said that only 50 percent of non-essential goods shops would be opened in the five most coronavirus affected districts of Punjab, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala, and Mohali.
In these five cities, the government and private institute will have 50 percent staff capacity.
