Adil Bhatia Is Blending AI Curiosity With Growth-Stage Investing
Adil Bhatia represents a new generation of venture capitalists who are not just backing technology—but actively engaging with it. Since joining Redpoint Ventures as vice president of growth in 2024, he has focused on identifying opportunities across infrastructure, AI, SaaS and security.
Before Redpoint, Bhatia was part of ICONIQ Growth, where he developed a strong foundation in scaling high-growth companies. A Harvard graduate, he brings both analytical depth and a forward-looking approach to his investment strategy.
His portfolio reflects this focus. Bhatia has invested in companies like Parafin in financial infrastructure, Physical Intelligence in robotics software and Irregular Security in AI-driven security—each operating in spaces that are shaping the next wave of technology.
More recently, he has also been paying close attention to the space ecosystem, an area gaining renewed momentum. Redpoint’s Series C investment in K2 Space, which builds large, multi-orbit satellites, highlights this expanding interest in frontier technologies.
What sets Bhatia apart is his belief that investors should go beyond observation and actively build with AI themselves. Whether through side projects or internal tools, he sees hands-on experimentation as essential to understanding the true potential of emerging technologies.
He also incorporates AI into his own thinking process, using tools like ChatGPT to brainstorm and explore possibilities—especially when evaluating whether a company could grow far beyond initial expectations.
With this blend of curiosity, technical engagement and growth-stage focus, Bhatia represents a more involved and adaptive style of investing.
Because today, understanding technology isn’t enough—you have to experiment with it to truly see where it can go.
