Rahul Roy said that instead of romantic and fictional stories, making films on patriotism and social issues is my first choice.

Actor Rahul Roy, who made his Bollywood debut with the film Aashiqui of the 90s, is going to show acting in 4 films this year. Famous for romantic films, Rahul Roy now wants to make films on issues of social and country interest.

In a special conversation with Aaj Tak, Rahul Roy discussed his films released this year in detail and explained why he is more excited about social and country interest films than romantic and other types of films.

Question- Rahul, the trailer of your film ‘The Walk’ has been launched and the audience is also liking the trailer but why did you think of doing a film on such a name and such an issue?

These are the issues of today which are going through the people of our country and we are focusing on those issues and we are focusing on the emotional angle in it. The Walk is the story of a migrant laborer in which we are focusing on his problems. Our story is not inspired by politics at all because we know that Corona is not only the problem of our country but of the whole world and the troubles are different everywhere. My role is that of a migrant laborer who is moving from Mumbai to his village UP and one of his friends tells me before his death that leaving my daughter in the village to her family is based on this journey. Story of the film “The Walk”. My character is trying to look positive in everything.

Question – You have announced another film which is based on patriotism and the name of the film is “LAC”, tell something about it?

As you know that there was a big border dispute between India and China recently, the way our soldiers were martyred while protecting the country’s border was a very painful incident. We are trying to show through the film “LAC” what happens in the mind of a soldier who is a soldier on the outskirts. After all, what is the passion that he is ready to fight every threat for the safety of his mother India and secondly, how much our India has become strong in the last 50 years and how powerful it has also been shown through this film Has been. The special thing about this film is that when you see this film, you will know that this entire picture has been shot in one shot.

Question- Rahul, you must know that the news is also that now Ajay Devgan has also announced to make a film on Galvan Valley about India-China?

I am very happy with this announcement of Ajay Devgan because Ajay ji is a big actor and makes very good films. But my film has no comparison with his film because obviously his film will be made on a very large scale. We will show this story in a different way and those people will have a different way of showing the story. I think more people should also make a film on such a subject.

Question – Due to the border dispute, 59 apps were closed in India and in which the Tik Tok app was quite popular among the people, then how do you see it?

I never used Tick Talk and neither did I like to watch its video. I am very happy with this decision of the Government of India because when it comes to the self-respect of the country, I think it is the duty of our citizens to stand firmly with the government in the interest of the country. There is nothing ahead of the country, we Indians should welcome every decision in which the sense of interest of the country is hidden. Hindustan was living even before Tick Talk and Hindustan would live after Tick Talk and Tick Talk is not a very creative app, it is a simple app that passes people’s time.
