Meet Shree Saini – Crowned Miss India USA

Shree Saini is an activist, motivational speaker, beauty pageant queen who overcame having a heart pacemaker and suffering facial burns from a car accident.

Shree Saini was born on 6 January 1996 in Punjab, India. For the first 12 years of her life, Saini’s heartbeat had an average of 20 beats per minute. Doctors told her that she could never dance again but she didn’t give up and practised for extra hours for years so that she could dance again. Later in life, she was involved in a major car accident that resulted in her suffering from major facial burns.

At the age of 15, she started her own website called shreesaini.org to advocate for mental health. She has written a lot of articles and given a lot of speeches on emotional well being. She volunteers her time and works with the American Heart Association.

She pursued non-profit management at Harvard University, studied acting from yale school of drama, social entrepreneurship from Stanford University, journalism at the University of Washington, she is a trained ballerina and has been accepted to train at Joffrey Ballet.

She is the current Miss Washington World which is a preliminary competition to miss world America and miss world. She collapsed at miss world America preliminary in October 2019. In 2020 she was a world peace messenger award recipient from Passion Vista.
