Shakti says- “I still remember, during my Struggle days I was driving my 1961 model Fiat car on Linking Road, Bandra. Then a Mercedes car damaged my car a little while trying to overtake me. I came down with anger and was about to get angry at his driver that immediately I realized that the one I was about to shout is Feroz Khan, a famous actor. Seeing them, all my anger got evaporated. Instead of shouting at him, I sat requesting him to give me a break in the film because he was famous for helping new actors and treating them with respect. ”

Kapoor further said- “After this incident, I had a meeting with writer KK Shukla Ji. He told me that there is a negative role in the film for which he has suggested my name, but Feroz Khan Sahab wants to get a new boy who bumped into him in Bandra. On hearing my moustache blossomed. I told Shukla Ji that I am that boy. After this, I did not need to look back. I will always be grateful for everything that Feroze Sir trusted in me, the way he guided me and the love I received from the audience. People still say that my work in ‘sacrifice’ is one of my best works. ”
